Venice is a magical place that has lured painters for centuries. The magnificent palaces, the churches, the monuments and the bridges are works of art in themselves. No painter however, can play down the softness of the light. Rhyn, in this work, tries to capture the mood and spirit of the shimmering light falling off the buildings and onto the canal, recreating the magical scene for all to see and experience.
