This painting was done en plein air under a small drizzle of rain. A group of artists, while on their way to supper in Aix aux Provence, looked at this scene and instantly became mesmerized. They stopped their car in the highway and quickly began to paint. The outcome was a fresh and spontaneous oil painting filled with emotion and the love of life.
