How do I pay for a Art purchase?
Artwork Xchange, Reg’d offers you multiple payment methods. Whatever your online mode of payment, you can rest assured that Artwork Xchange’s trusted payment gateway partners use secure encryption technology to keep your transaction details confidential at all times.
You may use Internet Banking (PayPal, Stripe), Wire Transfers, e-Transfers (in Canada), Western Union, and Gift Cards to make your purchase.
Artwork Xchange, Reg’d also accepts payments made using recognised Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit/debit cards.
Are there any hidden charges (Import Duties or Sales Tax) when I make a purchase on Art?
There are NO hidden charges when you make a purchase on Art. The prices listed for all the items are final and all-inclusive. The price you see on the product page is exactly what you pay.Other than Canada (more specifically, in the retail industry, i.e., a corporation [only] that is selling portraits as part of its vocation has to impose a value added tax to a buyer that resides in Canada), there is no sales or value added tax imposed on the sale. If a country (other than Canada) has lawfully imposed a tax that has to be amassed by the vendor of a portrait, the quoted (actual) sale price of the portrait has to have the sales or value added tax included in the sale price of the portrait, as quoted on Artwork Xchange’s site and that vendor is responsible to its tax authorities for same, with total exoneration to the buyer; in essence, NO surprise or hidden charges.
Delivery charges may be extra depending on the seller policy. Please check individual seller for the same.
Import duties may be applicable, depending on your country’s foreign trade policy on imported goods from other countries. This is addressed by the courier of the product in question and billed directly to you at point of product reception.
How do I pay using a credit/debit card?
We accept payments made by credit/debit cards issued in Canada/USA and 21 other countries.
Credit cards
We accept payments made using Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards.
To pay using your credit card at checkout, you will need your card number, expiry date, three-digit CVV number (found on the backside of your card). After entering these details, you will be redirected to the bank's page for entering the online 3D Secure password.
Debit cards
We accept payments made using Visa, MasterCard and Maestro debit cards.
To pay using your debit card at checkout, you will need your card number, expiry date, three-digit CVV number. You will then be redirected to your bank's secure page for entering your online password (issued by your bank) to complete the payment.
Western Union and Wire Transfers
We accept payments made using Western Union services and Wire Transfers Requests. Artwork Xchange’s credentials and banking are on the generated invoice for your purchase. Simply execute same at a local Western Union outlet or financial institution and notify Artwork Xchange of same. Once Artwork Xchange receives payment, product will be immediately shipped.
