Using a limited palette, Dr. Tsoukas attempts to grasp the essence of the scene. He must attack a tiny canvas with spontaneity, and freshness. Little time is spent to do so, as every stroke of the brush must count. Within minutes, the little house in the south of France quickly surrenders to the artist. The clouds, the mountains, the road in this particular moment in time and, in fact, the whole scene put on canvas, have become immortal.
