This is a glowing scene. The coldness of the snow is totally obscured by the orange-red of the warm setting sun. A golden reflection on the water jumps on the tree in front and, hits our eyes. Our attention, which began in the distant horizon, now is drawn to the little tree. In the end, it is the tree with its many branches which seems to hold our attention and, helps transmit the light the dominant theme of this beautiful piece of work.
